About My Home Shopping Party
I can still remember the plastic ware and cosmetic parties my mom hosted in our home while I was growing up. They were always so much fun. In fact those parties are why I’ve been involved with party plan companies since the 1990's. Over the years I've noticed that the average party is about 7 guests. And getting them together more than once every 4 months or so can be tricky.
When I lived in South Carolina I started hosting open house parties for my friends at my office. Nothing spectacular – I'd invite 3 or 4 friends who were consultants from other party plan companies to come show us what they had. Sometimes I would promote my own party plan company. I'd always bake something yummy and put on some coffee to enjoy. We'd do something of a "split the pot"” with the hostess rewards by keeping half of what we earned for the party and donating the other half to a local charity.
In 2011 we moved to the Greater Cincinnati Area of Ohio. I wanted to do something that would help financially support my family, be fun, help others grow their business and live their dreams. In January of 2012 My Home Shopping Party was born.
We host a public party at least once a quarter somewhere in the Greater Cincinnati Ohio area. Shoppers can earn hostess rewards from vendors, fuel cards from My Home Shopping Party and at some events one happy shopper can even earn a $100 shopping spree.
In keeping with helping others live their dreams we also use at least 10% of our net proceeds to stand against domestic violence and child neglect.
